French Lick Resort

All of the staff that we have come in contact with have been welcoming and helpful. Overall top notch service! I would love to come back in the spring when there is not snow on the ground to further explore the grounds surronding the property. Even with the weather, they have done a good job of clearing sidewalks and pathways of snow. I appreciate that we can walk from the hotel to the casino and remain completely inside. I also really liked the holiday decorations that were still up, it was like walking through a door into a different time.

This resort is beautiful inside and out. My husband and I stayed there last May, and the experience couldn't have been better. The gorgeous craftsmanship in the lobby, large ballrooms, halls, shuttle to West Baden Resort, and spa were top-notch. They have a few restaurant options, but I would have loved it if they were more versatile and opened until 11 pm or midnight. We didn't try the swimming pools during our stay, but they looked really cool. This place might sound pricey, but it's worth it. There isn't much to do in French Lick City, but it's a cute town. Fortunately, a staycation at this resort could be a great getaway since they have a lot to offer. We stayed in the Spring Wing, which was quite a long walk from the parking lot, so try to use the valet parking if you can . The casino looked cool too, if that's something you're looking for. This resort & the west Baden resort ; these 2 should be more highlighted , as not much people outside Indiana know about these 2 .

My wife and I celebrated New Year's Eve in style, and I'm still grinning from ear to ear. The French Lick Hotel exudes luxury and sophistication, with its soaring ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and plush furnishings. We felt like royalty (or at least, like we'd won the lottery). Room: 4/5 (cozy, but basic – last-minute booking meant we got what was left!) Since we booked our trip last-minute, we didn't have the luxury of choosing our room. Our basic room was, well, basic – but it was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. We didn't spend much time in the room anyway, since we were too busy exploring the hotel and celebrating NYE! New Year's Eve Celebration: 5/5 (party hats, noise-makers, and a conga line) The French Lick Hotel knows how to throw a party! We joined the festivities in the grand ballroom, where we danced the night away to a live band, sporting our finest party hats and noise-makers. The conga line was a particular highlight – who knew my wife had such great conga skills? Dining: 4.5/5 (the buffet was epic, but the breakfast pancakes were a tad soggy)_ We indulged in the sumptuous New Year's Eve buffet, which featured an incredible spread of dishes, from prime rib to seafood. The only slight misstep was the breakfast pancakes the next morning – a tad soggy, but still delicious. Fun for the Whole Family: 5/5 (pizza, bowling, and games – yes, please!) One of the best parts about French Lick Hotel is that it's not just for hotel guests! They have a fantastic pizza shop, bowling alley, and game room that are all open to the public. We had a blast playing games and eating pizza – it was the perfect way to unwind after a night of partying. Service: 5/5 (the staff were friendly, attentive, and seemed to genuinely enjoy our company) The French Lick Hotel staff were absolute rockstars! From the warm welcome at check-in to the friendly banter with the bartenders, everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy our company. We even got a few insider tips on the best local spots to explore. Overall Rating: 4.9/5 (we'll be back, French Lick – with party hats and noise-makers at the ready) If you're looking for a romantic getaway or just a fancy-pants celebration, the French Lick Hotel is the perfect destination. I am thoroughly impressed with this establishment. The hotel boasts exceptional aesthetics, and the culinary offerings are of the highest caliber. However, I must express my reservations regarding the behavior of the front desk staff. While the majority of the staff appears to be warm and welcoming, the front desk employees have exhibited a lack of friendliness and approachability.

Had a great New Year's vacation here! Plenty of activities and the Spa was amazing. I highly recommend Michelle if you get a massage and my mineral soak was the perfect temperature and so so relaxing. (The spring water does have a very distinct odor, fair warning!)

Iconic hotel that makes you feel like you're staying in a legit, actual museum. The walls and floors are decorated beautifully, punctuated by high ceilings...
