Evernote

I've been an Evernote customer forever. One of my accounts is on the free service, which after logging in recently was summarily limited to 50 notes. Software companies that choose to change subscription/revenue models and do not honor existing agreements tell you a lot about their integrity. Too many options out there to risk your data with these guys.

To the evernote team, i am frankly appalled and disappointed with your ever reducing product. Taking previous features away from existing users (and locking them behind an extravagant price wall without offering anything significant in return other than those previous features), is in a word, predatory. regards, Lloyd.

Horrible customer support, unresponsive, impersonal, and scary, having your most sensitive information trusted to a company that has no means to reach an urgent support with a human, rather than an impersonal, automatic "NO REPLY" message with a link to a hughe library of "references and customer support" that lacks the option to seek a time sensitive help, without having to log in, in the case that you have the misfortune to get locked out on your account. I have been more than 10 months back and forth, with a broken, fragmented, email based "NO REPLY" un responsive answers. I wish it was a negative scale for qualifying with stars, the lack of reliability, before you place your sensitive information in paid suscriptions. BE AWARE.

Their app will not process my credit card fee for upgrade to premium. Checked with my credit card provider, they said Evernote has not attempted to process a payment. Can not reach them by phone or internet chat. I sent an email stating my problem. They responded with an automated reply that they will get back to me soon. It has been over 24 hours and have not heard back. I am at the maximum upload for the current cycle, so can not add any more to Evernote. I hope thsi is not an indication of their customer support

as an Evernote user for over 10 years, the product itself is very good. the custome service is non-existent. Phone numbers are fake. There are no phone numbers in any of the websites providing information on who to call for password resets with customers that change email addresses and do not have access to original email. Not sure what to do. Perhaps switch to a different product, and put a PAYMENT BLOCK on Evernote. Sad...
