Total lies. I’m a paid prime member and I purchased (paid extra again) flexible dates. On their own website in my booking details it clearly says that I could change my flight until the morning of the flight but when I called them the day before to change they told me I had to pay $320. I did because I had no choice. Now again on my flight details (on their website) it again tells me that I can change until the morning of the flight. Very deceiving and I will contact the ACCC to get my prime membership money refunded and lodge a formal complaint about this company.

EDREAMS: UNSCRUPULOUS, UNETHICAL, AND SERIAL SCAMMERS! I purchased a plane ticket through edreams. Everything seemed fine at first, but 15 days later, I received an email from this "company" for the first time, informing me that they had charged my card £90 for a Prime subscription—something I never requested or authorized. I had never received any prior communication about this so-called subscription, not even to confirm my flight. They acted with complete impunity and dishonesty, using my personal and financial information in an illegal and fraudulent manner. A PERFECTLY ORGANIZED SCAM!
When I called to demand answers, I encountered their mental exhaustion strategy:

They claimed that, apparently, by purchasing the 'cheapest ticket', I had "automatically agreed" to an annual subscription with automatic renewal. They said it was MY CHOICE out of different booking prices which is another complete lie since I was also looking at the prices from the airline and they had the exact same price (NEVER use third parties scamming websites again).
They blamed me for not canceling the "free trial" within 15 days, ignoring the fact that I was never informed or notified.
They condescendingly tried to make me feel "grateful" for the partial refund they were offering. FLAT OUT OUTRAGEOUS. Moreover:

During almost two hours on the phone, I was transferred between three agents, having to explain my case from scratch each time.
They tried to convince me that the partial refund was being processed, but when I mentioned I had blocked my card (to prevent further unauthorized charges), they transferred me to another agent who repeated the same excuses and ultimately told me: "You need to contact your bank if the money doesn’t show up."
They conditioned the partial refund on not canceling the subscription, trapping me in their deceitful system. This is all part of a manipulative scheme designed to frustrate you into abandoning your rightful claim. MANIPULATION AND LACK OF TRANSPARENCY
This company doesn’t just operate as a serial scammer; they also make it nearly impossible to reach their support team. Their emails don’t allow direct replies, accessing your "open cases" on their platform is useless, and their agents are trained to mentally and emotionally exhaust you.

Under Spain’s Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, consumers have the right to withdraw from any service they didn’t explicitly sign up for within 14 additional days after an unauthorized charge. However, edreams systematically violates these regulations, creating a bureaucratic labyrinth to prevent you from reclaiming your money. REPORTING AND TAKING ACTION AGAINST EDREAMS
I am not the first, nor will I be the last, victim of this company. Complaints against them are flooding the internet. In Spain, file a report with the OCU and the Civil Guard’s Cybercrime Unit:

EDREAMS Join communities of affected users to expose their atrocities, like the facebook group called 'WARNING!!! EDREAMS.COM!!!! TOTAL FRAUD!!!' Edreams is a disgraceful, unethical, and unscrupulous company dedicated to fraudulently taking money from its users. My time, energy, and peace of mind will not be returned, but I will do everything in my power to expose their dishonest practices and prevent others from falling into their trap. If you’ve been a victim, speak up and file a report.

I wonder how companies like Edreams continue to exist despite the only (poor) service they manage to do is to abuse the good faith of customers: I'm not the only one (unfortunately) to have been scammed by this company, if the review ranking is 1.7 it means that there are many of us in the same situation. I lost over €300 thanks to their false advertising on their website where they write that for prime customers you can book flights where it is possible to make flight changes or cancellations without any cost, except then, if it is necessary to make a flight change, it turns out to be impossible "due to the airline's fault". In practice, what happens is that they offer you a service at a higher price (being a prime customer has a cost) and then in reality this service is non-existent. the customer service is totally helpless and is in no way able to solve the problems and most of them have great difficulty interacting in my language. NEVER AGAIN! I immediately cancelled my prime membership and will never buy anything from these scammers again!

BEWARE!! You will loose your money if you don't pay extremely attention at the smallest details! I booked a flight on this website with the option to change the flight, in fact I choose the option: "change the flight without costs" (as it is shown on the picture attached) but now, speaking to an operator, it is explained to me that the airline does not allow the flight change. I find that this sales system is extremely incorrect, it does not take into account the needs of customers and the incorrect description of the product puts the customer in an inconvenient situation. I will never buy anything on this site again and I advise all other potential customers to pay extreme attention even to the smallest details in the description to avoid paying large price increases or even losing money for a paid and non-existent service as happened to me.. Also, if any other unlucky customer has experienced same or similar inconvenient, can get in touch with me, maybe we can organize some legal action in order to get restored our customer rights.

eDreams is engaging in illegal practices! They automatically enrolled me into their paid Prime membership without my explicit consent, which is a deceptive and unlawful business tactic. This type of automatic enrollment violates consumer protection laws in both Europe and Australia, where clear, informed consent is required for any paid services. As if that wasn’t enough, when I needed to cancel my flight—despite having purchased their cancellation insurance—they refused to issue a refund. Their customer service was unresponsive and completely unhelpful, leaving me frustrated and out of pocket. Consumers need to be aware of eDreams’ misleading and unlawful behavior. Beware of hidden fees and unreliable insurance—this company cannot be trusted. Stay away!
