Dogfish Head

We can’t say enough for everything the Dogfish Head team did to make our wedding reception a night that we will absolutely never forget. We coordinated with them from across the country (we’re from DE but live in CA now and wanted our reception at DFH) and they were so amazing with being flexible and helping us figure out exactly what we wanted for our reception. They helped us nail down our menu and seating arrangements, allowed us to figure out a way to set up and decorate early, and helped make sure things ran smoothly and according to schedule on the day of. We had a blast and all of our guests did too and we are so grateful to the whole team! The food, the drinks- everything was phenomenal! Our guests raved about how great the food was and we even had a few friends say that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! It was such a dream to have lobster rolls and hush puppies at our wedding, and thanks to Kim we actually ate some of it! The stage and setup were perfect for us to have a band and folks danced all night long. All of the personal touches, from letting us create our own signature drinks to allowing us to make changes to the menu all helped make the day exactly what we were picturing. The team was so great to work with, it felt like we were all friends by the end of it. We will never pass up an opportunity to stop into DFH for a pint and thank them again for making our dream reception come true.

We decided to stop by Dogfish Head for lunch after leaving Ocean City, Maryland, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! I ordered the "Old Man and the Sea," a delicious and creative take on a white pizza with a delightful Delaware/Maryland crab twist. My husband went for the Fried Chicken Sandwich, which was huge and packed with flavor. We sat at the bar, where the service was quick and friendly. The entire menu looked amazing, and all the dishes coming out of the kitchen were tempting. Highly recommend this spot—we’ll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

This is one of my favorite places to stop anytime I’m in Rehoboth. My husband loves to go to the Emporium and getting different beers and spirits, so dinner next-door is a must. They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. As an appetizer, I ordered the crab and corn chowder, which was OK. As an entrée, the under the Ridge pizza was really good. If you are a lover of mushrooms, onions and garlic, this won’t disappoint! There was a little bit of wait to be seated, but walking up and down the street helped with that. We were also informed as we were about to be seated that strollers were not allowed inside. As my child is a toddler and can sit in a highchair, we just took the stroller back to the car. But if you have a younger child who is not able to sit up, this could be an inconvenience.

Burgers and pizzas are $12 every Tuesday. I ordered the burger special with turkey, and while it was a bit messy to eat, it was decent. Their strawberry lime tequila margarita was sooo good, and their pretzel bites were satisfying. The service was good... quick with the drinks, though the food took a little longer. We came as a party of 12, split between two tables, and they were able to provide us with individual checks.

Love the location in Gaithersburg, so we had to try the original in Rehoboth. The atmosphere and building are very cool. TVs playing sports on the inside, but they also had a covered patio area. The place was clean, and the service was great. The food was good and their beers are great with lots of variety.
