Dogfish Head

We decided to stop by Dogfish Head for lunch after leaving Ocean City, Maryland, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! I ordered the "Old Man and the Sea," a delicious and creative take on a white pizza with a delightful Delaware/Maryland crab twist. My husband went for the Fried Chicken Sandwich, which was huge and packed with flavor. We sat at the bar, where the service was quick and friendly. The entire menu looked amazing, and all the dishes coming out of the kitchen were tempting. Highly recommend this spot—we’ll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

This is one of my favorite places to stop anytime I’m in Rehoboth. My husband loves to go to the Emporium and getting different beers and spirits, so dinner next-door is a must. They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. As an appetizer, I ordered the crab and corn chowder, which was OK. As an entrée, the under the Ridge pizza was really good. If you are a lover of mushrooms, onions and garlic, this won’t disappoint! There was a little bit of wait to be seated, but walking up and down the street helped with that. We were also informed as we were about to be seated that strollers were not allowed inside. As my child is a toddler and can sit in a highchair, we just took the stroller back to the car. But if you have a younger child who is not able to sit up, this could be an inconvenience.

My wife and I had an amazing visit. She ordered the fish tacos and I reluctantly but adventurously ordered the chili dogs, I mean who orders hot dogs at a restaurant, but boy was I pleasantly surprised!! The presentation and special ingredients were on point and well put together. Viciously tasty! We couldn't keep our hands off of each other's plate. Since we were at a brewery I was not going to miss out on the beer. I put together a beer flight with a few different IPA's and they were all great! Had I been with the fellas I may have went for a second round. My wife had the Dogfish Gin and tonic also amazing. All coupled with live music, and an awesome staff, as a patron of this establishment who could ask for more. Next time we are in town from DC this will be top of the list to visit.

Burgers and pizzas are $12 every Tuesday. I ordered the burger special with turkey, and while it was a bit messy to eat, it was decent. Their strawberry lime tequila margarita was sooo good, and their pretzel bites were satisfying. The service was good... quick with the drinks, though the food took a little longer. We came as a party of 12, split between two tables, and they were able to provide us with individual checks.

Amazing brewery and restaurant! Everything was perfect start to finish. Espresso martini and mushroom pizza were fantastic. My kids loved the pretzel bites and we all enjoyed the live band karaoke. What a fun place with top notch food and drinks! We will definitely be back.
