Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris was brilliant, especially when we went in, during the week in Jan. It was relatively quiet, and a lot of rides had a short wait or you could use the single-rider option. The weather when we went was incredibly foggy, which made the whole park look completely different. Staff, as always, were super lovely. We couldn't open a gate and one of them showed us the button and joked 'Disney magic' which we all thought was really funny. There were lots of characters everywhere, some did shows, some meet and greets and some were walking around. The whole park felt a lot more relaxed than when you go in summer, so it was great.

I just still can't believe how magical this park was. It's so big and there is also so much to do. The ambience is really good based on the different places you visit in the park. Good food and also amazing attractions and events. If you love Disney then this is the place to be in Europe. I strongly recommend going here, when you're from Europe or international.

Visiting was a lot of fun! I stayed at the Marvel Hotel as an Empire State member, and it was a great experience overall. One of the highlights was the 15:30 tea time, where they served delicious small bites, and in the evening, you could enjoy complimentary soft drinks until 22:00. However, I was disappointed to learn that the tea time was only available on the day of arrival. This detail wasn’t communicated to me beforehand, either verbally or in the provided documents. On my second day, I walked all the way from the park to the hotel, only to be told at the lounge that I was no longer eligible for tea time. Feeling quite let down, I ended up grabbing a burger at McDonald's instead. In the evening, I dined at the Manhattan Restaurant. While the food was good, I felt it was a bit overpriced for what was offered. As for the park itself, it was a great experience, especially visiting during the Christmas season to see all the decorations. However, I must admit that the holiday decor didn’t quite give me the “wow” factor I was hoping for. It was nice, but not enough to make me feel like I’d need to visit again during the same season. Additionally, much of the Studio Park was under construction, so several things were closed, which was a bit disappointing.

Purchased our tickets several months in advance, in May I believe. We visited on Christmas Day and it was beautiful! We visited both parks and neither was terribly crowded. Food wise we tried the burgers by the Toy Story area, hot chocolate, Mickey beignet, quiche, and deli sandwiches - all were delicious. The parades were so cute, and firework display at close was also great.

I had high hopes for Disneyland Paris, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The park itself is crumbling and in dire need of renovation. Secondly, the overwhelming crowds and lines for every ride (some over 90 minutes!) made it nearly impossible to enjoy the attractions. Speaking of food, the prices were exorbitant for mediocre quality. A simple meal cost more than it was worth, and finding a table was another challenge. I am still unable to believe that they do not have a multi cuisine food court for such big attraction. While the staff was friendly and the parades were fun, it wasn’t enough to outweigh the frustration of the day. For the price of admission, I expected a much smoother and more enjoyable experience. Disneyland needs to be creative and adopt smart measures. Not value for money.
