Deschutes Brewery

Man…this was a great experience. The Elk Burger was FANTASTIC and the Hazy IPA was really great! I only gave 4 stars for service because they seemed to have forgotten about us after our first drinks but they might have thought we were waiting for later to order dinner but we live on Eastern Standard and were well past our normal dinner time. Once we got our food order in service was top-notch.

Good place to visit while in Portland downtown. Good brewery. Get taste beer plates first then buy beer whichever you want to buy from it. It has good ambiance and good vibe. They give early last call for food and drinks. It is crowded as well. So get in ahead of time and order early.

Ordered the single pub burger with salad. Excellent burger but felt small, I should have got the double. Homemade bun is the bomb. Salad was boring without my Midwest taste for French dressing. Fries were good off a friend’s plate. The wife had the Triple Berry French Toast and she loved it. Good food and fun atmosphere!

I think everyone on the West Coast has heard of Deschutes and for good reason. So I had to try some of their exclusive brews near the source. Along with some good grub. The location is surprisingly large and is decorated pretty awesome like a timber meeting hall. There was plenty of bar space and a play area if you're stopping in with tikes. Service was on top of keeping our glasses in good order and getting the food out. I tried the Elk Burger with fries which was pretty good. The meat was well cooked though the fries were a bit on the salty end. I was nevertheless enticed by my wife's Berry and Burratta Salad which was excellent with a fist of cheese right on top.

We visited for the first time and it was fantastic place! They have a great selection of beer, especially I love Fresh Hop IPA. Also food was really good, wings, fries and pasta were really delicious! My only concern was it took a bit of time to order. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Always a good time! Do the tour, kick it with the awesome staff, sample their amazing beers, enjoy the space and buy some merch. A killer experience, always!
