No issues parking across the street from the pro shop. Check in was friendly and painless, but the shop was pretty “tired”. We played the Old Course; there has been a lot of rain this summer, so the fairways were very wet. Although we walked, those using carts were free to go wherever despite the mud and puddles… not great for the fairways—cart path rules should be enforced. Most fairways were very wide, a couple were more narrow. Greens were in great condition. There was no food being cooked on the morning we were there; there were candy bars, Slim Jims, and peanuts available to purchase. We only saw the cart girl once during our 18 holes. Pace of play was painfully slow due to the group in front of us, but they eventually let us play through while they were purchasing drinks. No Marshalls on course at all. We’d potentially give this course another try once it dries up.

A little hesitant after reading previous review but we had great accommodations. No smells and very clean. We were on the 2nd floor. There are no dishes at all. They have a drip coffeemaker, microwave, toaster (I think) and mini fridge. That's it! No plates, cups, silverware etc.. Outside looks rough but inside was great. We are planning another trip in August and now know what we need to take with us.

Stayed at one of the villas. Entered our room on the ground floor which immediately felt cold and had a overwhelmingly strong musty smell like a wet mildewy basement. The air in the room felt damp even though it was not humid outside. We saw a note on the kitchen table that said our room was personally cleaned by Krystal. We looked around and immediately saw dozens of large daddy long leg spiders in all corners of the rooms ceilings. It was obvious that no one had been in the room in a long time looking like that. The bedding was dated. Cheap polyester comforter with dated colors. Mattresses felt decent. The heating/ac unit in the wall looked like it was from the 70s and didn’t even turn on. The room itself looked was updated it was just a shame what a terrible odor it had and the lack of cleaning. We didn’t bother complaining because we could see what kind of shape the pro shop was in. Paint peeling off the entire building, barely lit inside. They probably would’ve just tossed us in another room or cleaned it up quick. The golf course itself was good. Played the lake course and it was in pretty good shape.

Terrific place. Fun trip. Had our friends bachelor party there last summer. 20 guys. Played golf and rented boats. Prime rib dinner on Saturday was phenomenal. Renovated rooms are super nice. Clean and modern.

Room was clean and newly renovated. Beds were very comfortable. Nice little kitchen area. Extremely nice folks. Only problem was the room didn’t get cleaned but for a two day stay it wasn’t a huge issue. Highly recommend.
