What a cool place! Do the tour and tasting - it’s a fun experience. The staff is so enjoyable and you can tell how much they like what they do. Drinks, whiskey, and gin are all great too - brought two bottles home with us!

Great fun on father day weekend! Excellent helpful staff, making fantastic rye whiskey. We participated in the Catoctin Creek Distilling Company Bottling Workshops. We got to learn how to bottle, cap, seal, and label Roundstone Rye. I got to operate the "whisky cow", and "Ninette", the fancy French labeling machine! My family made bottles of whiskey for my father's day! There was a light breakfast, an outstanding tour from Scott, the bottling workshop activity, and a free tasting of various products at the end. Highly recommend!

A distillery with a unique history that you can learn about on the distillery tour. Point of advice, though: eat before coming here. Whiskeys were good, but slightly one-note. Perhaps it was just the day I visited, but my experience was diminished by an off-putting sewage smell. Still, worth a visit.

Came here for one of their private dinners that they do a few times a year and it was nothing short of incredible. Such a beautiful space and one of the best meals (if not the best) I’ve ever had. Their whiskey and gin is the best in VA to boot. They also do a lot of events (like bottling workshops on the weekend) and they give free breakfast! The owners are so passionate and they do so much for the community. Great times. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Beautifully situated and decorated store/bar/distillery. The tour was very educational and we enjoyed everything we tasted. I’m NOT a whiskey drinker but their whiskey is so smooth, delicately sweet and just well balanced. Enjoyed the gin too. Appreciate that it’s a woman-owned and highly knowledgable, passionate staff

The bottling experience was superb! Loved hearing all the history behind the building and the whiskey/bourbon/spirits industry. Then doing the bottling process was fun and seeing how it’s done from start to finish. Finally the tasting of a few spirits was a nice way to finish the experience. Also, having coffee and bagels/donuts upon arrival was great as we didn’t have time for breakfast.

Went to quarterly guest dinner. Food was great, but experienced whiskey drinks that even my non-spirit drinking wife enjoyed. And of course, the people and location are ideal.

Attended a cocktail making class. Friendly, intimate atmosphere. Funny, and enjoyable, learned about the history of the drinks we were making. Hands-on making of each of the drinks on the menu. Get to meet other people.

My friends and I had a great time at Catoctin Creek Distillery. The tour at the beginning was very informative. The best part was obviously the bottling experience. We had fun working each station in the bottling line. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I both did a bottling workshop at Catoctin Creek. The tour, the history, bottling process, and tasting were all fantastic! Very informative and fun!
