It's a friggin playground!! Does anyone know who's in administration? Every time I've tried to speak with the administration, I get a survey. Positive Cancer screening in March 2024. A year later and there's been no follow up only confusion. In the emergency room four times. I actually witnessed a nurse make a jump shot with a dirty needle into a large sharp container that was duct tape on the corner of the counter at the nurses station. The idiot leaped up off a bag of clean laundry to make the dangerous shot. The opening of the container had to be an easy six feet off the floor. I also question why patients were sitting in the waiting area holding their urine specimens out in the open. A word of good I can relate is if you need an interpreter, you'll be treated and discharged first. (yes I witnessed that too). I'm not trying to reach out to an invisible CHA administration anymore, America finally has a government that cares, reach out to them, they care!

I’m only giving a one star for this because there is no option for 0 stars. The only good about it was it was only an hour wait time but now I know why. The doctor who I saw had no compassion whatsoever. I was told by him that the emergency room is only for emergencies as soon as he saw me without knowing why I was in pain at all. I went in for upper abdominal pain. He refused to take any imaging tests to find out what was wrong and discharged me with gastritis and acid reflux. Which clearly it wasn’t that. I ended up going to Lowell General and was taken care of extremely well by the caring compassionate workers even though the wait time was horribly long. They did imaging and found out I was extremely constipated and that was the cause of the pain and gas I was having and they also found some other issues that I will be consulting with my primary care in a few days. Very concerning issues that need to be addressed like my iud not in the right position and fibroid tumors in my uterus which explains my lower back pain. But this is exactly why I give this a 0 star review. Very disappointing that we have care givers who don’t really care for our well being.

Went in to give birth had to end up having an unexpected c section due to complications . All the nurses and workers made the healing process very bearable and a good experience except one Nurse Ruth I hate to name drop but she made my stay feel absolutely horrible and acted unprofessional and rude… one example is when I was in pain and I would say it was like a 7 I had asked for more medicine and they gave me small dose of oxy nurse Ruth came back and proceeded to tell me that , “that was very not recommended and I shouldn’t have taken that and that it’s unusual that my pain was a 7”( insinuating I was lying lol ) she told me that I wasn’t experiencing the pain that I was and I was just gassy and that I need to get up and walk I told her no I am in pain not gas pain and she said “that’s not true ur just gassy stand up “ that’s just one example… the rest of the time she was my nurse in the morning she just kept making snarky comments and making me feel bad and dismissing me … even at the end of my stay while I was getting ready to leave she rushedddd me to get out and go home. The whole time just made me feel like she needed me to go home literally hours after my c - section . Told another nurse about the medicine incident and she even said she was sorry about that behavior and they like to do what’s best for the patient to feel better and don’t know why she was acting like that . Over all the other workers and nurses were literal angels and made me feel amazing just one nurse ruined the whole experience unfortunately

Lost my pregnancy test samples and misguided on appointment price, leading to me paying outta pocket for $1480 for miscarriage and $980 for “initial assessment for behavioral health.” Billing and Customer Service said that I should’ve checked the price when I got the “service” - I did ask the people who recommended the service. She said that I “shouldn’t worry about it.”

I was just on 4 West for a few days, and I would give my nursing & doctors 5 stars however my overnight nurse was useless. My two daytime nurses Courtney & Alaina were absolutely Excellent. They work so hard all day with a smile at all times. They won't hesitate to go above & beyond if it means helping a patient in need. Give these two ladies a raise!
