Burjeel Hospital

I am extremely thankful to the entire team of Burjeel Hospital at Al Najdah for their professional medical treatment done to my both eyes on Nov 26 and Dec 3, 2024 The doctor Sunil GT was excellent in his profession and his office Nurse Ms.Irene was simply the best with homely atmosphere. Words go beyond appreciation for the entire services provided from security guards, reception, cleaning staffs, a musician in the middle, refreshing tea, coffee, water and environment of discipline with faces of smiles in Burjeel employees. I felt as if everyone is waiting to help and assist for the patients with any queries. My treating Doctor even answers my quarries on watts app and Sister Irene calls for reminders of putting eye drops before and after surgery. The doctor answered all my quarries about cataracts, operation procedures, use of different equipments, precautions to be after the surgery. The only moderate rush was found in the pharmacy. The staffs at the Day Care section were marvelous. Thanks to the Burjeel management to have such a valuable manpower engaged in serving the Society. Keep the standard and keep growing. I visited Burjeel Hospital on Najda Street for an emergency check-up for my son around 8:45 PM on September 17, 2024. He was suffering severely from fever, cough, and flu. I received ticket number 177 and waited for our turn. However, to my surprise, a patient with ticket number 180, who appeared perfectly fine, was called in for vitals before us. Initially, I thought it might have been an emergency, but later I realized it was simply a favor from the emergency manager, which is absolutely unacceptable. Furthermore, the screening process was the worst I’ve experienced. Despite waiting for over an hour and 10 minutes, no one called us for the emergency check-up. According to the manager, all the beds were occupied, and they were "arranging things." This was my second terrible experience with Burjeel. There were numerous emergency cases, yet everyone had to wait outside due to the lack of space. It was an extremely disappointing experience, and I consider Burjeel one of the worst hospitals in town. I tried reaching out to management for assistance, but no one responded to my calls. The staff was unprofessional, and the emergency management system was severely lacking I have also attached a photo that captures one of the discrepancies.

I am truly grateful to Dr. Job Simon from the Endocrinology Department for his exceptional care. His treatment helped me resolve all my hormonal issues. Dr. Simon is not only highly skilled but also kind, friendly, and makes you feel at ease throughout the process. He went above and beyond by personally following up with my husband after each of my tests, which I deeply appreciated.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi for their exceptional care and support during my wife’s pregnancy. A special thank you to Dr. Pathukutty Muhammed for her expertise, compassion and guidance throughout the entire journey. She made us feel comfortable and at ease during every visit and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our baby boy was born on 19th September 2024, and we are extremely grateful for the excellent care provided by Dr. PATHUKUTTY and the entire team. The nurses and support staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. The hospital is immaculate and the environment made us feel safe and well cared for. We truly appreciate the efforts of everyone at Burjeel Hospital, and highly recommend it to others.
