Brink Wood Products

We used Brinks for years but I’d never been happy. There are 2 things I don’t like. First, their chips are mostly dirt. I have dirt, I need chips. If you have a pile in your drive and it rains, you’ll see it go down by half as the dirt washes away. Try this, use your hand and lightly sift through the pots they have in front of the store. You will find some big pieces on top but under that is just dirt. I also don’t buy dyed chips because I don’t want chemicals leaching into my soil. (I was trying to buy what is supposed to be a superior cedar, as they don’t carry cypress.) By the end of the season, only 4 months later, it will have become a very unattractive whitish gray color. As a landscape designer I’m fussy, I know. But I also know good products. Now I go to Menards and get cypress, or a high quality cedar, which I find far superior. I’m sorry to give a not so good review but because of the amount of chips they sell people need to know what they’re getting. And, just maybe, the quality will improve so I can go back.

Great place to get your landscape supplies, friendly staff. It happened to be customer appreciation day, so free Reese is always nice. Good prices, great selection, good, convenient location. I've been going here for over 20 years!

I’ve been a life long customer of Brinks but no more. Wanted to purchase one yard of 1-2 inch stone but my truck could only carry half yard at a time. I asked if they could scoop half of it in my truck and come back later for the other half. I was told that I could purchase a yard of stone and watch them load and stop when I was at my trucks limit. So basically half a yard for the price of one. I was told that if that was not acceptable I could shovel the half yard into my truck. Walked out and said that I would give my business to someone that better accommodates my needs. That would be Birch Tree Bark and Stone. They totally accommodated my needs and were very pleasant. I will never go back to Brinks

Amazing family owned business. The product is exceptional. We used color enhanced around our house and the economy mulch for our chicken run. Great products and service. Great price

Called Brink to have some bark hand installed around my house. I estimated yardage too high, but because the crew kept good track, I only paid for what they used. David and Bryce did a great job on the install. They were very thorough, using pitch forks to place as compared to just dumping it out. They also hand spread around the plants and bushes. Once they were done, they broomed off the driveway as well as several large rocks in the landscape and then raked up anything in the yard. These two young men worked very hard and did a fantastic job. I will definitely use Brink again.

Brink has been delivering playground mulch and play sand for my daycare since 2010. They are wonderful. If I call early they can usually deliver same day....

Typically have had good experiences with Brink. They do have an expensive delivery charge in comparison to others in the area. We got fill dirt from them...
