We set up an interview & at the last minute I was sent over an email stating they’ve decided to move forward with another candidate. I wasted my time and gas showing up.

Kitmatching was a great experience. The training process and aclimation of 50-hour weeks was rough, standing and pacing to not do perfect work but just enough to pass the vas sheets. I've gotten good at the sticker placements, and my production rate increased by 10 percent every week until I've been switched to different customer sets, basically having to restart my muscle memory. The co-workers and managers are fantastic, but I wasn't too happy with human resources who didn't want to discuss my doctors notes. In short words, as I was trying to keep up with production given that I had to esencislly retrain from anew, I was beat down from the upper foodchain. I got sick eventually, had something contageous, according to the doctors exam I was ordered not to return to work for 3 days. Just in transition to a position to the IT department. But that didn't matter. My attempt to reach HR about the matter resulted in termination of both positions, not because of me being ill to the point I would have infected everybody, but because I didn't meet the production. Jokes on Baker & Taylor, my talent has been acquired elsewhere for better pay and benefits. In summary, I wish circumstances would have been discussed or perhaps gotten an apology of sorts, but the truth is, at the company, you are just a number, nothing else. Good luck.
