Avidxchange customer reviews

24 year old company, listed on the Nasdaq, and can't create a simple portal with up-to-date information for vendors. I've been going back and forth with this company for 5 months over what should be the simplest of issues. A month after creating an account, I asked the merchant to change the mailing address. They did, but for some reason Avid created a new account instead - which I couldn't access. After more than two months of back and forth with them they finally figured out how to merge the two accounts they created, but now the last 4 invoices are listed as "Pending Approval", which isn't accurate, all four have been paid but I only know that because each month I have to contact the merchant and verify. They also charge a 1.55% fee TO THE VENDOR (Customer) to process an electronic ACH payment. But, ironically, they don't charge anything to cut a check. Why is that? Given how long it takes them to send a payment, I am guessing they're benefitting from the float of holding your money. The information about this company from Nasdaq says they have 1,600 employees and $110 million in revenue. Most $110M companies have about 120-150 employees, so maybe that's part of the problem. As a vendor, you will hate this company, and I hear it's no picnic for the merchants either.

The most incompetent customer service team I have ever dealt with. They can't even figure out they paid the wrong company. I got check from them made out to our company, could not figure out the payee on the check, so I called customer service. First they almost want you to send blood sample to validate your identity, such a huge waste of your time on the validation, it just goes on and on and on you have to spell out everything for them. Gave them the check number and they pulled up the invoice. You would think first thing they would look at is the name on the invoice to ensure they paid correct person, right???? No Wrong, they ask for more validation on the company address, the invoice number and the invoice amount, NOW keep in mind I have already validated the company name, address, phone number, email on file, my first and last name, etc. But the customer service was not smart enough to look at the name on the invoice to ensure that was correct, I have to tell her to look at that. Then customer service told me to destroy the check and they would re-issue a check to correct person who was Goodwin Partners. So Goodwin Partners, if you are looking for your check for INV-3794 you may be waiting for some time.

Avoid at all cost. I was totally blindsided by a call from them from a client who apparently signed up for their services to process AP. The conversation was alarming. They try to slide by the fact that they are charging my client AND me a percentage of the transaction, wanted my consent to share my company's information including banking data, with their partners, etc. I was absolutely alarmed. Avoid them!

This is the worst company that I had ever dealt with and I highly recommend everyone to stay away from this company! Everytime I need to get an issue taken care of it can take a long time to get someone to help you and sometimes can take weeks or even a couple of months to resolve. My opinion is that there other better companies to do business with. If I could give this company 0 stars I would definitely do it! All this company has done to me is give me the run around!

AvidXchange has proven to be a complete nightmare when it comes to handling payments. Time and again, they have lost checks from clients who owe us money, leaving our business in a constant state of frustration and financial uncertainty. This level of incompetence is unacceptable for any payment processor, let alone one that claims to specialize in helping businesses streamline their financial operations. Their support is equally lackluster, offering no real solutions and causing unnecessary delays. AvidXchange's inefficiency is costing us time, money, and the trust of our clients. Avoid at all costs.
