The hotel is located brilliantly. Closer to 2 MRT stations and walk to most of the amenities. The staff seemed to be a bit rude and does not engage enough especially night staff. The person we got next morning was very helpful. So a bit inconsistent. The Room was just enough and very minimalist. Enough to sleep but not big enough to even stand. To get on the bed there was a big step so might not be ideal for people with bad knees. The bathrooms and toilet facilities were adequate. The rooms do get cleaned everyday so we returned to clean rooms everyday.

The front desk staff were very polite. Check-in time is at 3:00 PM, but if you arrive early, you can store your luggage first. The room was clean and comfortable, and I will definitely come back next time.

Booked a 2 night stay in their standard queen room, firstly was greeted with a giant roach pest in the room and immediately asked for a room change. However reception staff was pretty unreceptive. They took photo of the roach and dismissed me easily. One of the staff also commented “the roach is just relaxing”. Upon the second room change, the fridge lights had issues, flickering the whole time we stayed adding on to the noise of snoring and bathing from our neighbours. The walls are too thin and compromising our rest and peace. On the second day, we request for our room to be made up as we will be out the whole day. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a few unpleasant issues. Our room key is not able to unlock the room and we had to go back down to the reception to have it resolved. Instead of giving us a new key, the receptionist accompanied us along to our room and use his master key instead to unlock the door. Bare in mind, if we were to go out for supper, we need to trouble the receptionist to open up the room door for us. The worst is yet to come, we found fresh blood stains on the floor, comforter, bed and our clothes. Called the receptionist and explained our discomfort and he simply told us that the housekeeping is on his way to the room. We asked for the duty manager in charge but he says the manager will only come the next morning. Horrible service! Housekeeping taking forever! Need to go back down to the receptionist to expedite the housekeeping to come. Explain to the receptionist, that we need to sleep cause we were out the whole day and were very very tired. Receptionist just took the photos of the issues and didn’t say a word or offer any service recovery. Waited for the housekeeping to come which took forever, he changed the bed set that was covered with blood stains and asked us to wash our clothes that have blood stains on it. My question is, would you want to reuse your clothes that was covered in blood even after washing it? Wondering why is there a blood stains in the room? Was it period blood? Someone’s blood? god knows!? Would not recommend this hotel to anyone! 3 star boutique hotel? not even close!

Receptionist one of the Malay short hair lady is not so welcoming to me you working in front line but there no even a greeting & not even a smile . There no basic customer service. Afterwards when she pass us the check in card for the room I did say thank you to her but there is no smile or saying back welcome. The hotel is all good to stay but for me the Reception need some basic respect & try to smile more to your customer.

Donkey and I recently chose Arton Boutique Hotel for a staycation, and it continues to be one of my favorites for its affordability and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the exceptional service of the receptionist, Siew Chu. Her warmth and attentiveness immediately set the tone for a delightful stay. She even surprised us by upgrading us to a family room, perhaps recognizing our frequent visits and loyalty as customers. This thoughtful gesture truly made us feel valued. The hotel's location is unbeatable, being centrally located near the heart of the city, making it easy to explore and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. It's also surrounded by a wide variety of eateries, so you'll never be too far from a delicious meal. The 24-hour coffee shop nearby was a bonus, especially for late-night cravings. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We loved the clean bathroom with overhead shower and the abundance of pillows, making for a truly cozy stay. The 60-inch wall-mounted LCD TV with Netflix was a welcome entertainment option, and we even enjoyed a movie marathon during our stay. We even requested extra coffee and tea, which Siew Chu promptly and cheerfully provided, exceeding our expectations for service. While some reviews mention smaller room sizes, our experience has always been positive, especially considering the hotel's affordability. We understand that for a hotel close to the city center with such reasonable prices, the room size might be smaller, but it didn't detract from the overall comfort and enjoyment of our stay. If you're looking for a comfortable and affordable staycation option with excellent service and a prime location, Arton Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice. We highly recommend it and are giving it a 5-star rating for its friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, convenient location, and overall positive experience. We especially appreciate the exceptional service provided by Siew Chu, who truly made our stay memorable.
