My daughter was rushed here for a brain tumor. Doctors and nursing staff are excellent. They got the tumor out after 6 hours of surgery and she’s improving everyday. We could not ask for better care for our child. Thank you to all of the staff that made a rough time transition into a positive one.

I was there many years ago being treated for blood clots and lupus and these people were hands down the best ever. They did more for me than these regular hospitals I've been going to now. The doctors and nurses were amazing and my mom even loved them. Sadly I think a year after they relocated I had to leave but I was a patient with them from 2006-2012 I wish more hospitals were like this.

I still have nightmares about this visit. I do not wish the treatment I received in the ER from the staff to my worst enemy. I came in with my lethargic, pale and sleepy 6 month old due to an allergic reaction to yogurt, at that point he wasn’t throwing up anymore and more like gagging. When they brought us into the triage area for vitals my baby was gagging again and due to risk of aspiration I leaned over the only sink I saw in the area, this nurse came out of nowhere to yell “UGH, NOT ON MY SINK”! I was in shock that no one cared about a baby this little being so sick, she just cared about “her sink”. My baby didn’t end up vomiting it was more like saliva but I remember it so vividly. No one should be treated that way. This was a $700 visit that I had to pay. I made a complaint with the ethics board and no one ever got back to me.

Finally! A health organization that cares about its patients! Our 11 year old son was struggling with a persistent cough that could not be resolved with 4 separate doctor appointments. We met with Lurie’s pulmonary department where they ran a breathing test. Then the doctor spent a good amount of time examining and speaking with our son to diagnose him. We all felt she was very thorough! We left there feeling like she had a solid grasp on his cough and now we have a plan of action. Turns out it was a combo platter of issues causing his cough. What a great experience after an exasperating 2 month journey trying to help our child. We are grateful to the pulmonary team at Lurie Children’s.

My son was admitted from Saturday to Wednesday. Everyone was great! Nurse Sarah and Abby took such great care of my son! The infectious disease team and Ortho team were phenomenal. They saved my son! The pediatric team was stellar. Dr. Brown is the bomb! I am always very happy with their outpatient staff but didn't know how great the overall staff is! I so appreciative and grateful for them .
