Amrit Ocean Resort

I had the pleasure of staying at this resort twice, and both experiences were absolutely fantastic. The rooms are breathtaking with stunning views of the ocean. The amenities are top-notch, making the stay very relaxing and soothing. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary refreshments in the penthouse suite. Staying here twice in one month was truly a blessing. The pool is wonderful, and the poolside service is exceptional. I loved being greeted warmly every time I arrived; the bellmen and staff were amazing. My only minor complaint is the lack of trash bags in the restroom trashcans for feminine hygiene products. Other than that, my stay was amazing, and I will likely be visiting again. Also the robes and slippers are a nice touch. My favorite were the stand alone tubs. Very luxurious and amazing stay.

My husband and I had an incredible weekend getaway that exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, the service was truly exceptional. Dinner at Tula was a standout experience—everything from the inviting atmosphere to the meticulous attention to detail was flawless. Our server ensured my glass was never empty, making the evening feel effortlessly luxurious. We spent a blissful day unwinding by the pool and soaking in the serene beauty of the beach. It was the perfect escape to recharge and relax. I wholeheartedly recommend this destination to anyone looking for a memorable and rejuvenating getaway!

Went for happy hour after reviewing the menu online. Was charged full price for both the appetizer and glass of wine ( which should have been $10 each). Asked the server to correct it and she proceeded to tell me the price was already adjusted. So, an appetizer was $22 at half off? For Yucca fries? This wasn’t correct. Attempted to call the resort and got no answer. Emailed them as well. I will update this review if they correct the issue. 12/15: Amrit has handled the matter professionally and refunded the money. I appreciate them handling this customer service matter. The property is stunning. The food was excellent.

Beautiful resort right on the ocean. Very stylishly decorated and super friendly staff. The restaurant has amazing ocean views and great food. We loved the dishes as they were really unique and very flavorful. The lobby is very peaceful and smells amazing. The beach is beautiful and clean.

This hotel may look great from a distance, but I can confidently say it is NOT worth the money. Yes, it’s a one-year-old building, and yes, it looks nice in pictures, but that’s where the positives end. The hotel is terribly managed, with extremely poor build quality and shockingly bad attention to detail. As soon as we entered the property, things started to feel off. Missing tiles, cracks, and holes in the marble design were visible everywhere, making it clear that no proper inspection of the build quality had been conducted. The “WOW” reaction you might get from afar quickly falls apart upon closer inspection. The room we were given was outright filthy. It looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped in weeks, despite being supposedly “cleaned” before our arrival. The terrace was no better, littered with cigarette butts and ash, further proving that cleanliness is not a priority here. The staff were unprofessional, inattentive, and appeared entirely unfit for their duties, adding to the frustration. It was hard to believe this was a high-priced establishment when everything, from the cleanliness to the service, screamed negligence and incompetence. While the location next to the beach offers great views and easy access, that alone cannot justify the outrageous $850 per night price tag. I absolutely do not recommend ANYONE waste their money here unless they want to stay in a dirty, half-finished hotel with unprofessional staff. Avoid this place at all costs.

You have to experience this resort! Harvi rolled out the red carpet for us. The health club, food and amenities are all world class! Can’t wait to go back again. I would recommend anyone looking for a unique experience in South Florida to check out the Amrit Resort

Do not believe excellent reviews. Read the terrible reviews. They are all spot on. It’s very sad because many of the employees are very nice and tried very hard to please us. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke and since this is a health and wellness resort, that’s beyond unacceptable. I had to spend half my second day there trying to get someone to do something about the smell as well as the filthy floor in our room. The manager offered to return the resort fee of $45 per day but my husband felt it wasn’t enough considering we were paying over $900 a night for our room and left a message for him to call back. The call was never returned. We asked to have room changed and were told there was no room to give us even though the hotel seemed pretty empty. Amrit is a Highgate property and until it is up to that standard, we won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend anyone else go. Highgate should step in and get this place up to speed. Disgraceful.

One word to describe this luxurious hotel. BREATHTAKING The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, outstanding food and the staff is very friendly. My birthday dinner was outstanding at Tula. The lobster ravioli and the squash risotto was to die for. Best birthday dinner!

Beautiful stylish ocean front resort. Loved the ambience starting from the entrance and maintained throughout the resort. The lobby smelled amazing and you are greeted by friendly staff throughout the resort. We ate at Tula, which had very flavorful fresh cuisine. My favorite was the Apple arugula salad and the new York strip steak. The outside view from the restaurant is gorgeous, will be back to sit out during the day for brunch soon!
