Amaranta Hotel

Everything was very good but we felt cheated once we were charged 340 (bht) (800rs approx) for using a small tube of bubble bath in our bath tub. When u go to a hotel and use the products kept in the bathroom, you expect they are kept there to be used and not chargeable over your booking price. We did not expect this from such a big hotel. Rest all was good and i must recommend you to stay at Amaranta on your bangkok visit. Nice breakfast buffet and clean rooms. Very good swimming pool (well maintained)

I’ve stayed at Amaranta Hotel countless times over the years, but unfortunately, the standard and quality have steadily declined. Issues range from clogged bathroom drains and water seeping from the bathroom into the toilet to housekeeping repeatedly failing to change and replenish bath towels despite constant reminders and complaints. On one occasion, when I requested a towel after housekeeping forgot to provide one, the hotel staff informed me that they had run out and could only offer the towels from the swimming pool. Additionally, loose power sockets made charging my phone difficult, and there were occasional power cuts in the entire room. I’ve given this hotel many chances, but I definitely won’t be staying here again.

Room we have was spacious although the first night we couldnt sleep because of noise from car and party but the management move us to a different room.The guy named Lay is so approachable and helpful he was the one assisted us on our moving room and everything.The buffet breakfast excellent,staff are all attentive and always make sure you have a great breakfast. I think this place still stuck with their 4.5 stars from Tripadvisor in year 2018. Lots of things need to improve. I can smell a damp since I walked in the room and there’s a wet towels in the shower with water leak from shower head. Also the broken plastic seal on shower door was cracked and hard, I got scratched from it. We booked for 2 adults and 1 child, and I had to ask for extra towels for my kids everyday, very unorganised. TV in the room connect through wifi system which never worked properly. I watched movie for 20min and it went off because lost connection, everyday especially night time. Restaurant they have is so dark, looks depress and I feel like they hide something. I saw cockroaches on the floor and tables. Breakfast portion is so small when I ordered omelette. Also the hygiene, some glasses still have lipstick stains on it lol and they served us with that. Good swimming pool they have at rooftop but they should have staff talked to people about smoking on non smoking area. Also overcharging on things, they gave us 2x 500ml water a day. They’ll charge you more if you asked for more, that’s ridiculous. And they tried to charge me on replacing blanket by charge for the whole bed cleaning charge. Anyway, if you wanna give a try, good luck. Please move on, there’re better places around that area anyway. And please stop doing copy and paste replies all the reviews on this. People can see lol.

Really recommend !!! Bed ,pillow and blanket are very comfortable, staff polite and friendly, hotel located in the prime areas, next to MRT and of course the free TUK TUK to take us to MRT or even pick me up from the MRT. The cafe is very good atmosphere , nice coffee and bakery.
