A muse n games customer reviews

I love this place. Among all hobby shops for trading cards, board games and all that is nerdy this is the best. Huge selection, big space, lots of seating and best of all the staff are super friendly and accommodating not snobby at all. Some stuff they sell are a little pricey, but I come here anyways because the service you get is always top tier. The only thing I don't like is on a busy day parking is hard to find. If you are trying to start to get into trading cards and need help learning this is the place to go.

Its always a good time when I come to this store. The staff is very knowledgeable about anything that I ask. They have a great selection and even sell a few products made from local vendors.

I attended Magic events here before the move and always felt entry costs were steep compared to prize support. Big tournaments sometimes had inconsistent rulings that weren't addressed, which hurt the experience. I get that stores struggle with scalpers - like with Pokémon products where prices get crazy such as Prismatic Evolutions, which is unfair to them for the price increase they had to do. However in the past I was charged $12 for a single card that's $4 everywhere else (which I bought because nobody else had stock) felt unfair. I needed it, but it was never my go-to place to purchase singles. What worries me more are the responses to critical reviews. As someone who wants local game stores to thrive, seeing defensive replies instead of professional engagement makes me hesitant to recommend. I’m sharing this feedback respectfully, hoping it’s taken as constructive rather than met with another multi-paragraph response. The community needs shops that listen as much as they sell. Here’s hoping for better transparency and less tension moving forward.

One of the best TCG stores in Winnipeg. It was bright, clean and welcoming along with knowledgeable staff and competitive prices. Brian even came over to answer questions and helped learn about what i was looking for! Thanks again, 10/10.

A Muse N Games is a store that many in the Pokémon TCG community and other card game communities have visited, but unfortunately, there are ongoing issues that have led to frustration among many people I know who have been there. Based on feedback from players and my own experiences, it’s clear that the store’s practices around pricing and tournament organization need improvement. These concerns have made it difficult for players to fully enjoy the experience, and I hope this review helps shed light on areas that need attention. One major issue is the store’s pricing practices, which have consistently frustrated many. Prices are significantly higher than MSRP, almost always well above what other local stores or online retailers charge. Beyond pricing, tournament organization has also been a point of contention. I know several players in the Pokémon community who have expressed frustration over inconsistent or biased calls at events, which has diminished the competitive experience for many. Given these ongoing issues, I genuinely hope A Muse N Games takes steps to improve both its pricing practices and the fairness of its events. A more transparent and player-friendly approach to both would greatly benefit the community, and I’d love to see A Muse N Games become a more welcoming and reliable spot for players and collectors alike.
